Step 1: Application & Initial Fees

Licensed real estate agents, brokers, and appraisers can begin the application process by completing the REALTOR® Application and SentriLock User Agreement below.

To join the REALTORS® Association of Lincoln please email the Membership Director or call (402) 441-3621. She will send you detailed instructions with specific steps about how to become a member.

Non-licensees are eligible for Affiliate Membership (see Affiliates page).

Step 2: Processing, Initial Fees Invoice & Monthly Fees Account Setup

Processing time is 1 – 2 business days. Your information will be submitted to the National Association of REALTORS® and a member number (M1) is generated. You will then receive an invoice via email for the initial dues and fees along with instructions/options to pay.

After your application is processed with GPRMLS, you will receive a welcome email that includes your M1 number and your MLS ID. This email will also have instructions to register your billing account for the monthly MLS and SentriLock fees.

Step 3: Activation & RAL Welcome Email

Once you have registered your billing account for the monthly fees, you will receive your MLS activation email with your temporary MLS login information within 1 -2 business days. You will also receive a welcome email from RAL and your activation email from SentriLock.

Step 4: New Member Course Requirements

As a new member of the REALTORS® Association of Lincoln, you are required to complete FOUR new member classes: New Member Orientation, New Member Code of Ethics, New User MLS Rules, and a Fair Housing Course. These are 4 separate classes. New Member Orientation, New Member Code of Ethics and Fair Housing (Fairhaven) must be completed within 180 days of joining the Association. New User MLS Rules needs to be completed within 90 days of joining GPRMLS.

You will continue to get the registration emails until ALL classes are completed.

1. New Member Orientation

This class is held at the RAL office and covers all things related to the Association – Committees, staff, events, dues, IMS, etc. This class is held quarterly and runs from 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Registration details will be sent two weeks prior to each class date.

2. New Member Code of Ethics

This class is also held at the RAL office and meets your Code of Ethics requirement for NAR. It covers The NAR Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. The class provides an in-depth look into all of the articles and includes content on professional conduct, courtesies, business etiquette, and real-life scenarios. This class is held quarterly and runs from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Registration details will be sent two weeks prior to each class date.

3. Fair Housing

All new members will need to complete Fairhaven: A Fair Housing Simulation, which is an online simulation training about discrimination in the homebuying process and meets your Fair Housing requirement for NAR. Information will be emailed to you after joining.

4. New User MLS Rules

This class is held via zoom or in person at the RAL office and is taught by Jaycee, our GPRMLS trainer. The zoom class is held monthly at 10:00 a.m. and runs for 1 hour. The in-person class is held quarterly at 1:00 p.m. and runs for 1 hour. The class provides an overview of the GPRMLS rules. This is different from the Paragon Orientation you also have to complete. Whereas the Paragon Orientation is a “how-to” use the system, the GPRMLS rules class goes over what you can and can’t do. Registration details will be sent around the 1st of each month.
